Biography:

Born on 12 June 1960 in Luts'k (Ukraine). Was the first prize winner of the 1984 Republican Accordion Competition. Performed frequently as accordion player and conducted various chamber ensembles in Kyiv.
Since 1988 worked as a consultant at the Union of Ukrainian Composers.
As conductor he has held concerts with orchestras of Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, France, given world and Ukrainian premieres of more than 100 works by contemporary composers, founded New Music concert series in Kyiv. His works have been performed by well known performers, ensembles and orchestras in many countries at numerous festivals and concerts, including portrait-concerts. They have been issued in print and recorded in Ukraine and abroad. He is Executive Secretary of Kyiv Branch of Ukrainian Composers' Union, member of Association New Music.
In his musical style he aims to unite emotionalism and structural precision. In 1990s he tried to go out of the conditional genres' system (see his works' titles).
He attended Brandenburger Kolloquien der Neuen Musik (Berlin, Germany) which were held by P.Diettrich, D.Schnebel, K.Huber, F.Globokar, E.Denisov (1992, 1993, 1995).
