Biography:

Born on 31 March 1951 in Ussurijsk (Russia). In 1970 she graduated from Volgograd Arts College as a pianist under G.Giljova. She continued her musical education at the Odessa State A.V.Nezhdanova Conservatoire (now Odessa State A.V.Nezhdanova Musical Academy) as a pianist under Prof. L.Ginzburg and as a composer with Prof. O.Krasotov (1971-1976, 1982-1985).
In 1972-1975 she was a coach of Opera Studio at the Odessa State A.V.Nezhdanova Conservatoire, in 1976-1977 - a soloist of the Volgograd Regional Philharmony (State concert agency). In 1978-1985 she was a coach at the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 1982-1985 she taught composition at the Odessa Arts School no.1 and in 1986-1994 - at Odessa Musical School no.1. In 1990-1995 she was Prof. L.Ginzburg’s assistant in piano at Odessa State A.V.Nezhdanova Conservatoire. Since 1995 she is a free-lance composer (at the National Ukrainian Composers’ Union). In 1996-2001 she was the pianist of the FRESCOS Contemporary Music Ensemble (Odessa, Ukraine).
She is the author of chamber operas, orchestral, instrumental, vocal and theatre music. Her works were performed at the "Kiev-Music-Fest" (Kiev, Ukraine, 1995, 1997), "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music" (Odessa, Ukraine, 1996-2002), "Musica Humana", “From Baroque to Avant-garde” (Zaporizhzhja, Ukraine, 2000, 2001) and at numerous festivals in many countries - Finland, Belgium, France, Russia (in particular, Tatarstan), Germany and Mexico.
Member of the Ukrainian Composers’ Union and Ukrainian Union of Theatre Workers. She was awarded the All-Ukrainian Music Theatre Leo Vitoshyns’kyj Prize (1998).
