Was founded at Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra and Odessa Philharmony (state concert agency) in 1981. Since then, they have performed contemporary music, including many compositions written especially for the ensemble by Ukrainian, Armenian, Latvian, Russian, Austrian and American composers. The ensemble has toured through the countries of the former Soviet Union, visited Austria, Switzerland, USA, Israel. Its members are leading performers at the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra.
