The Music Information Centre Odessa Ukraine at the Association New Music (the Ukrainian ISCM section) was founded in 2000. Since 2002 it is a candidate to the membership in the IAMIC.

Activity is aimed at: collecting, processing and spreading information about contemporary academic Ukrainian music; creating electronic databases, editing of catalogues and encyclopedias about Ukrainian music; preparing of materials to CD-ROMs and online magazine Musica Ukrainica; developing library (scores, books, journals, magazines etc.), musical library (audio- and videoinformation).
